RETWIS RADAR BY RETIA HELPS IN THE USA

Aerospace
A small portable radar that can "see" through a wall was developed by the Pardubice company Retia, a member of the CSG Aerospace division. It has now found its place in the USA. In Phoenix, Arizona, he helped local police discover hidden armed criminal, and in San Antonio, Texas, he assisted a local SWAT team in freeing hostages from an armed kidnapper.

The radar weighs 3,250 grams and its batteries last up to five hours. It works on the principle of detecting small changes caused by human or animal movement and thus allows to locate, for example, a person only on the basis of mere breathing. The visual outputs of objects hidden behind walls are displayed based on the processing of impulses reflected from them. The signal from the radar is practically undetectable.
