The Ostrava repair center JOB AIR Technic received authorization from the Civil Aviation Authority to maintain Boeing 737 MAX at the end of last year.

The first Boeing 737 MAX 8 arrived at the JOB AIR Technic repair center at Ostrava airport. The aircraft, which has the registration EI-GGL and the incomplete coloring of the previous operator Air Italy, landed in Mošnov on March 17 in the morning.

Boeing is now awaiting the necessary scheduled maintenance before handing over to a new customer, which should happen in April. It will fly with Luxembourg's flagship airline Luxair, said JOB AIR Technic's sales director Leoš David.

"We are pleased to have been able to obtain the authorization to enable heavy maintenance for this new generation of aircraft. Just like the Airbus A320neo, the Boeing 737 MAX will be the type of machine that will play a major role in the world of narrow body aircraft in the coming years," said Vladimír Stulančák, head of JOB AIR Technic at the time.
