Job Air Technic, based at Mošnov Airport, has been authorized to maintain Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, which have been re-licensed for commercial operation since last year's temporary ban. The American Boeing aircraft, together with European Airbus, represent the majority of the machines on which the company performs regular maintenance.

"We are pleased to have been able to obtain a license to maintain this new generation of aircraft. Like the Airbus A320 NEO, the Boeing 737 MAX will be a type of machine that will play a major role in the world of narrow body aircraft in the coming years. we see it as an important step that will enable our repair shops to develop further, "said Vladimír Stulančák, Director of Job Air Technic.

The Boeing 737 MAX aircraft have been in operation since 2016. However, their operation was interrupted worldwide in the spring of 2019 after tragic accidents in Indonesia and Ethiopia, in which a total of 346 people died. The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) authorized the resumption of operations of the Boeing 737 MAX aircraft the year before last November, the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) last January.

"The Boeing 737 MAX will soon need regular maintenance. We are therefore in contact with some leasing companies and operators that operate this type. We expect the first larger numbers of Maxs to need maintenance at the end of this year and we are ready for that," said Vladimír Stulančák.
