CS SOFT IN LITHUANIA CONTINUES WITH THE UPGRADE OF THE ALS ATM SYSTEM

Aerospace
CS SOFT from the CSG Aerospace division continues to successfully upgrade the air traffic control system in Lithuania.

After the first SAT (Site Acceptance Test) in February 2022 and the deployment of the system to live operation in September 2022, the whole project moved to the second phase, in which other specific functions that were requested by the customer, Oro Navigacija, were implemented.

In December 2022, the SAT for the second phase of the project was successfully completed, when the system met the defined requirements and criteria. Air traffic controllers will thus have a wide range of the latest support tools available, including MTCD, OLDI and MONA, after the completion of the necessary testing phase and the subsequent deployment of the system into live operation.

The now implemented version of the ALS ATM system thus enables Oro Navigacija to continue providing safe and efficient tower and approach air traffic control services for Kaunas as well as emergency regional air traffic control services for Vilnius.
