At the end of September, Česká letecká servisni, a.s. received an order to upgrade two Agusta A109E helicopters for the Latvian Border Guard.

The current end-user requirement is to replace the existing moving map with the RN7 DMM system, including AIS receiver installations. Another requirement is to replace the obsolete display. The newly installed display will be ready for the installation of the future EOP system with HD video outputs.
Most of the work on the first helicopter took place at the end of last year. The finalization of the modernization of both helicopters is planned for the first quarter of 2022.
